ABOUT DFF
We organise our flagship event, the Documentary Film Festival (DFF) annually. This event is managed entirely by students, who take care of everything from curation to finance. Documentaries are neglected by the mainstream audience, but they are a crucial medium of communication that exposes us to non-fiction. A mix of Indian and international documentaries is screened, and the filmmakers and actors interact with the students at the festival. Some of the films we have screened over the years include Borderlands (2021, Samarth Mahajan), Placebo (2016, Abhay Kumar), Aunty Sudha Aunty Radha (2019, Tanuja Chandra), and Supermen of Malegaon (2012, Faiza Ahmad Khan), among many others.
